This year, the Bac Ha White Plateau Festival is held in Bac Ha district (Lao Cai) and neighboring districts with many unique traditional cultural tourism events taking place in the first days of June.
The Festival will have three main events: the 15th Bac Ha District Traditional Horse Racing Festival; Tam Hoa Plum Festival; Cultural and Artistic Exchange at Bac Ha Night Market; Seminar to promote, advertise and call for investors in the tourism sector in Bac Ha.
The opening ceremony of the Festival is the Bac Ha District Horse Racing Festival, which will take place from 7:30 a.m. on June 5 at the stage in front of the Hoang A Tuong Palace, Bac Ha District. After the qualifying round, the final round will take place on the morning of June 12 at the Bac Ha District Central Stadium.

The Tam Hoa Plum Festival takes place over 9 days, from June 4 to 12 at the Bac Ha Fruit and Vegetable Research and Production Camp. Visitors will be able to visit, learn about the origin and enjoy products from the Tam Hoa Bac Ha plum tree.
In addition, visitors can also experience and explore tourism activities, visit many destinations in the area such as: Bac Ha Temple National Historical Site, Bac Ha Provincial Monument, visit and experience Coc Ly fair, explore the Nghien wood heritage complex over 1,000 years old, experience Quang Nguyen hot mineral spring, explore the ancient house of the Mong people, visit Suoi Thau grassland, Quang Nguyen hot mineral spring; 2 OCOP Cultural Tourism Villages, Lung Than ancient citadel historical site, Forest worship festival in Si Ma Cai (Lao Cai)...
In addition to the main activities, the Festival also has many supporting activities such as: Folk art performances and traditional costumes of ethnic groups in Bac Ha district; trade fair; camping and horse racing experiences; enjoying the art of tea making and brewing of the Tay ethnic group in Ban Lien commune...
With the Bac Ha White Plateau Festival this summer, Bac Ha district expects to welcome about 60,000 tourists to the locality.
