Hue Festival 2023 activities (June - December) will be organized with continuous and long-term activities focusing on the Program to celebrate 30 years of the Hue Monuments Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage, and 20 years of Nha Nhac being recognized as a Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The Summer Festival “Shining Citadel” takes place in April – June. The Shining Citadel Festival will highlight the art program celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Hue Monuments Complex and the 20th anniversary of Hue Royal Court Music being recognized by UNESCO.
The Autumn Festival “Hue in Autumn” will take place in July – September with the highlight being the Ao Dai Festival associated with the Hue Community Ao Dai Week, combining activities: Mid-Autumn Festival such as Lantern Festival, Lion Dance Day and activities of display, installation, lantern procession, lion dance performance…
The Winter Festival “Hue Winter” will take place in October - December, with a number of new festival activities creating a more vibrant and warmer winter atmosphere in Hue, while also creating forms of entertainment for visitors to enjoy during their stay in the ancient capital of Hue, with the highlight being the International Music Festival and the Countdown Program to welcome the New Year.
