Singapore – the Lion City – always knows how to surprise visitors and make major holidays truly special. And the annual National Day on August 9th is a prime example. The entire country seems to be adorned in a new outfit. Take a look at these recent photos from the 59th anniversary of Singapore's National Day, where the streets are filled with the striking white and red colors that impress tourists. These are also the two colors on the country's national flag.
