Iron 883™
The Sportster® line was introduced in 1957 and is the longest-running model in Harley-Davidson history. Harley-Davidson completely upgraded the Sportster® line in 2004. The engine is mounted with rubber bushings to reduce vibration. The clutch has 25% less pulling force. Additionally, the clutch springs are lighter.

The Sportster® Iron 883 is designed for smaller riders. It features a lightweight design, a low, forward-leaning seat, wide handlebars positioned close to the seat, and a finely tuned suspension for a smoother ride and better control. All Sportster® models have featured electronic fuel injection since 2007.
Forty-Eight®
In 2010, Harley-Davidson introduced the new XL1200X model, also known as the Forty-Eight®. Adopting the “Dark” Nightster style of the Sportster® line, the bike incorporates several design elements from the classic 1948 model, such as the iconic peanut-shaped fuel tank, wide, forward-leaning handlebars, large front fairing, single seat, and low suspension.
