The concert, titled "Street - A Trinh Cong Son Music Night," commemorates the 12th anniversary of the death of the talented musician and will be held at the Golden Phoenix Convention Center in Da Nang at 7 PM on March 29th. The stage at the convention center is elaborately decorated, blending seamlessly with the hauntingly beautiful music of the late composer Trinh Cong Son.
The program featured Meritorious Artist Cam Van, singers Duc Tuan, Ho Trung Dung, Nguyen Huu Thai Hoa, Thuy Tien, along with special guests who were friends and relatives of musician Trinh Cong Son, such as poet Dong Trinh, director-poet Doan Huy Giao, poet-artist Le Dien... This was also the only program in Da Nang where the late musician's family representative, singer Trinh Vinh Trinh, agreed to sign a contract granting the performance rights.
According to poet Dong Trinh, many people only understand Trinh Cong Son through his music and don't know much about him as a person. "The concert is an opportunity for the audience to better understand a genuine and free artist who lived, wrote, and crossed borders to live with humanity, helping listeners feel inspired and uplifted to live for the future. Through him, one day people all over the world will meet at one point: love," said poet Dong Trinh.
The artists participating in the program will also collectively raise funds to support dioxin-affected children in Da Nang city by selling Trinh Cong Son's music CDs before the performance.
