Actress Luong Giang beams at the football field.

13/06/2016

On June 12th, actress Luong Giang made her debut as an MC at My Dinh National Stadium.

After concluding the sitcom series "Bó tay chấm com" (Helpless) broadcast on VTV3, Luong Giang is now playing the lead role in the situational drama "Gia đình thủy tinh" (Glass Family), airing daily on HTV and other Southern television channels. Additionally, she is beginning to play the lead role in another sitcom that will soon air on VTV3. This role is quite fitting for Luong Giang in real life – an artist and a modern mother.

For the past two years, after getting married, Luong Giang has completely stopped participating in long-running television series and film projects, wanting to dedicate more time to her daughter and family. She only allows herself to act in short films and situational films to satisfy her longing for acting. Currently, Luong Giang focuses primarily on her teaching at the Central University of Arts and managing Megan Gallery (at 30 Hoa Ma, Hanoi).

Luong Giang said that she has hosted hundreds of programs ranging from political commentary, culture, and family, but this is the first time she has hosted a sports program, so she is very excited and as enthusiastic as the players.

Reportedly, this is the first "Press Cup 2016 - Amateur Football Tournament for Press Agencies" organized by the Press Department and Vietnam Family Newspaper. After nearly 30 days of exciting and fierce competition, 31 press football teams from both the North and South of Vietnam completed all their matches and officially determined the final winners of the season.

This is the first year the tournament has been held, with over 30 teams participating (20 teams from Hanoi and 10 teams from Ho Chi Minh City), a grassroots tournament for men's football teams from media agencies nationwide.
