Be Clown artist troupe performs the circus play Windless Sea in Can Tho

12/04/2018

On April 15, 2018, at 7:30 p.m., the artists of the Be Clown troupe will perform the circus play “Silent Sea!” at Luu Huu Phuoc Park - Can Tho at the invitation of the French Institute in Vietnam, within the framework of activities to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and France with the support of Can Tho city. The program has free admission.

“The Sea is Calm!” is a circus performance by the French art troupe Be Clown. With the theme of the sea and the fairy tale world, the show will draw the audience into a timeless story, escaping from everyday life. “The Sea is Calm!” is a colorful, imaginative experience, in a poetic space with beautiful performances by clowns and live music. The lives of the crew of 9 clowns and circus performers along with 2 musicians will be vividly recreated on stage.

Running for about an hour, “Calm Sea!” is a circus for everyone, without any introduction, taking place on a 7.5m high imaginary sailboat, where the sailors stand guard or the captain, and tourists look out to the vast world. However, the large white sail of the boat is not enough to push the boat out to sea, making the whole group feel immobile.
