When mentioning Tibet, it's probably a dream destination that most of us aspire to visit at least once in our lifetime. Why is Tibet so special? Tibet is the only place in the world today that still preserves the most original aspects of human civilization. It's a sacred land with a profound and invaluable cultural heritage, one of the oldest places untouched by urbanization and globalization. Therefore, Tibet holds many mysteries to explore and attracts many people to learn and discover.

On April 10th, Vietnam will host its first ever "Conquering the Roof of the World" motorcycle expedition, with over 30 motorcycles departing from Hanoi to Tibet, ascending to Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5,150m in the famous Himalayas. This is not only a special trip but also breaks many unprecedented records for Vietnam:

- This is the largest journey from Vietnam through Tibet to date by two-wheeled vehicle, especially a large-displacement motorcycle.

- The shortest tour from Vietnam to Tibet, covering a distance of 10,000 kilometers in just 23 days.

- This is the most challenging and highest-altitude international motorbike tour ever organized in Vietnam.

The journey will present challenges across 10,000 kilometers, traversing many rugged terrains that are very difficult to handle on two wheels. The trip attracted 30 large-displacement motorcycles, with over 40 bikers, all of whom are seasoned and experienced adventure travelers.

For each participant, this was their first time and a long-cherished dream to conquer one of the "most challenging" and "most attractive" routes for bikers in Vietnam and around the world. Why is Tibet so appealing to bikers?

Tibet is a sacred land with a unique religious life and local environment, isolated from the outside world, making it difficult to fully comprehend the hardships one would face. Tibet is also one of the most beautiful places in the world, home to the Himalayas and Mount Everest, the "roof of the world," attracting many tourists who wish to admire its beauty. However, it is not easy to reach and requires considerable physical fitness, endurance, and patience.

Furthermore, Tibet boasts a truly unique landscape: from rugged mountains and vast deserts to picturesque rivers, with temperatures that can reach 40 degrees Celsius.0C and also down to -100C. For Vietnamese bikers, this is a land of "daring to dream" but not necessarily "daring to go" with all its challenges. Touratech Vietnam and NESCAFÉ CAFÉ VIỆT, aiming to build an image of a strong, ambitious man who dares to think big, dares to act, and conquers challenges to win, have partnered with this special journey, helping bikers' dreams become a reality, with the participation of the largest biker force ever.

Each biker is a "cultural ambassador" of Vietnam, representing the will and spirit of overcoming challenges of the Vietnamese people, bringing the beauty of Vietnamese culture to the global community. In organizing this tour, the organizers hope it will also be an opportunity to test the unwavering willpower of the bikers, pushing their limits through the most difficult journeys, and affirming themselves by conquering Tibet and Everest Base Camp. At the same time, it is a pioneering trip that will pave the way for many more journeys in the future for Vietnamese bikers to conquer many special places around the world, interact with bikers from around the globe, and share the beauty of Vietnam with friends worldwide.

The Vietnamese-Tibetan biker group will undoubtedly bring back valuable stories to share, both about their riding experiences and their fascinating journeys, for society in general and the motorcycle community in particular.
