On April 10, for the first time, Vietnam organized a journey to "Conquer the roof of the world" for large-displacement vehicles with more than 30 vehicles, departing from Hanoi to Tibet, up to the Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5,150m in the famous Himalayas. This is not only a special trip, but also breaks many "unprecedented" things in Vietnam:
- This is the largest trip from Vietnam to Tibet to date by two-wheeled vehicle, especially large displacement.
- The shortest tour from Vietnam to Tibet with a distance of 10,000 km in just 23 days.
- This is the highest and most challenging international motorbike tour ever organized in Vietnam.
The journey will be a challenge over a distance of 10,000 kilometers, through many rough terrains that are difficult for two-wheeled vehicles to handle. The trip attracted 30 large displacement motorbikes to participate, with more than 40 bikers who are all experienced long-time adventurers.
For each participant, this is the first time and also a long-cherished dream to conquer one of the “most difficult” and “most attractive” routes for all Vietnamese and international bikers. Why is Tibet such an attractive place for bikers?
Tibet is a sacred land with a very unique religious life and local circumstances, isolated from the outside, unlike any other place in the world, so it is difficult to imagine all the difficulties that will be experienced. Tibet is also one of the most beautiful places in the world, with the Himalayas and Mount Everest as the "roof of the world", attracting many tourists who want to come and enjoy, but it is not easy to get to and requires a lot of health, endurance, and patience.
In addition, Tibet also has a very unique terrain: from rugged mountain terrain, to vast deserts, poetic rivers, with weather that can reach up to 40 degrees Celsius.0C and also down to -100C. For Vietnamese bikers, this is a land of "dare to dream" but not necessarily "dare to come" with all such challenges.
