Following the success of 2019 and 2020, Dong A continues to launch its publication.Tet Book 2021 - Anthology of Literature, Poetry, Music, and Art on the Theme of Spring and TetThis includes many works personally selected by the writer Ho Anh Thai.
This 292-page publication features contributions from over 60 authors, ranging from painters, musicians, and poets to veteran writers such as Nguyen Huy Thiep, Ma Van Khang, Mac Can, and Uong Trieu. Alongside these heartfelt words are illustrations from 12 contemporary artists: Thanh Chuong, Le Tri Dung, Do Phan, and others.
Gentle, delicate poems, heartwarming stories, shimmering lacquer paintings, and affectionate melodies all contribute to a shared masterpiece showcasing the beauty of traditional Vietnamese culture at the beginning of the new year, and subtly reflecting the artist's thoughts on the times.
Released at the turn of two decades, this publication evokes in readers a poignant sense of nostalgia for the past within a modern context. The same stories are told, but through the new perspectives of new people, in a new way of life. This is a book of traditional and modern fusion, retaining its rich Vietnamese essence without becoming outdated or out of sync with life.
