On April 25, 2019, continuing the "Haute Cuisine On The High Sea" journey, Paradise Group launched the second chapter of the Haute Cuisine On The High Sea voyage with the participation of 2-Michelin-star chef John Burton Race, Paradise Vietnam's Executive Chef Nguyen Gia Thien, and Chef Nguyen Thanh Tung – Iron Chef Vietnam.
The event space at the 5-star restaurant on the Paradise cruise ship boasts a luxurious and cozy design, accompanied by piano music, as it presents the theme: "A creative journey into the world of cuisine to explore culture, music, and art!"
Paradise Vietnam's summer culinary event series will take place at four locations. The first event is HOME Finest Teas Lounge (April 25, 2019) at Tea Lounge, Hanoi Tower, featuring an orchestra of up to 23 musicians, showcasing the exquisite beauty of classical music. Following that, on April 26, 2019, The Chef Duo Hanoi will be held at HOME Moc Restaurant – Hanoi, featuring a 6-course menu combining 2-Michelin-star chef John Burton Race and Paradise Vietnam's Executive Chef Nguyen Gia Thien.
The event space at HOME Mộc restaurant (Hanoi) features a design that blends local values with contemporary Vietnamese aesthetics.
Beyond the architecture, contemporary aesthetics and unique Vietnamese cultural values can also be easily found in the restaurant's cuisine.
Two consecutive events include:"Haute Cuisine On The High Sea – Chapter 2 By John Burton Race"(3/5/2019) on the Paradise Elegance cruise ship – Ha Long Bay, introducing a high-end Michelin menu; and"The Chef Duo – Sai Gon Chapter"(May 10, 2019) at HOME Finest Saigon restaurant – Saigon, showcasing the collaboration between 2-Michelin-star chef John Burton Race and Chef Nguyen Thanh Tung – winner of Iron Chef Vietnam Season 1.
2-Michelin-star chef John Burton Race Race not only brought Michelin-starred cuisine to Ha Long but also accompanied the entire journey in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Cultural and artistic value is also expressed not only through the quality but also through the presentation of the food.
Each dish is meticulously and delicately prepared by professional chefs.
Chef John Burton-Race is not only a renowned Michelin-starred chef, but also a famous television star in France and the winner of the prestigious Catey Award for the UK hospitality industry. Throughout the event series, diners will experience a sophisticated and classic European culinary journey through a range of dishes such as foie gras, truffle mushrooms, Bouillabaisse fish soup, Paris Brest pastry, gnocchi, and Italian tortellini, all expertly prepared by the 2-Michelin-star chef John Burton-Race.
