Coordinate with the railway industry to stimulate tourism.
On July 31st, the Da Nang Department of Tourism announced that, to enhance the attraction of tourists to the city by rail, taxi companies operating at Da Nang Station have joined forces to implement a promotional program for all passengers arriving at Da Nang Station on all North-South trains that pass through Da Nang Station (including the "Connecting Central Heritage" train route Da Nang – Hue) and traveling to tourist attractions, accommodations, restaurants, and shopping destinations from Da Nang Station.
The railway line crossing the Hai Van Pass connects Hue and Da Nang.
Accordingly, Vinasun Green Taxi Joint Stock Company and Phu Hoang Transport & Service Joint Stock Company – Tien Sa Taxi are offering a 10% discount when customers travel from Da Nang Train Station to destinations within Da Nang city (including accommodation, tourist attractions, shopping, dining, etc.) and a 10% discount when customers travel from Da Nang Train Station to destinations outside Da Nang city (Hoi An, My Son, etc.).
The promotion is valid until December 31, 2024. The promotion is valid only on the day of purchase for customers who present their train ticket stub or the QR code of their online ticket used on that day.
According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, in the first six months of 2024, Da Nang Railway Station handled 662,261 passengers, representing 146% of the same period last year. In the first seven months of 2024, the total number of guests served by accommodation establishments is estimated at over 6.6 million, an increase of over 32% compared to the same period in 2023. Revenue from accommodation, food, and travel is estimated at over 20,000 billion VND, an increase of over 29% compared to the same period in 2023.
Traveling to Da Nang by train is becoming a new and attractive trend for tourists who love to explore and experience new things. Instead of traveling by plane or bus, choosing to sit on a train allows tourists to enjoy a leisurely journey, admiring the beautiful natural scenery of Central Vietnam.
