I accompanied the Party Secretary throughout his working trip to the prefectures of Osaka, Hyogo, Nagano, and the capital city of Tokyo.(Japan)The event will be attended by over 40 senior delegates representing departments, agencies, and businesses operating in various sectors across the city. Against the backdrop of the flourishing Vietnam-Japan comprehensive strategic partnership, the tourism sector between the two countries in general, and between Ho Chi Minh City and Japan in particular, has achieved encouraging results.
Besides the aim of boosting investment and trade, the visit of the city's leaders to Japan is also an opportunity to further enhance the promotion of Ho Chi Minh City's image as a tourist destination to Japan, while attracting more investment in the tourism sector from Japanese businesses through a series of events taking place from April 10-14, 2017, organized by the Department of Tourism in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports and the ITPC Investment and Trade Promotion Center.
The trip marked an important milestone in the strong friendship between Vietnam and Japan in general, and between Ho Chi Minh City and several localities in Japan in particular. Especially, 2017 marked the 20th anniversary of the establishment of cooperative relations between Ho Chi Minh City and Osaka City.(1997)10 years of cooperative relationship between Osaka City and Osaka Prefecture(2007)This also serves as a stepping stone to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.
