According to the report, the number of international visitors to the city exceeded 1.833 million, reaching 30% of the 2024 target and increasing by 32.5% compared to the same period in 2023. For domestic visitors, the number reached over 10.885 million, achieving 28.6% of the 2024 target and increasing by 3.1% compared to the same period in 2023.
Total tourism revenue reached VND 60,046 billion, achieving 31.6% of the 2024 plan and increasing by 17.4% compared to the same period in 2023. This impressive growth not only reflects the city's strong appeal to tourists but also the result of effective tourism policies and promotional activities.

The city has successfully organized many tourism events that attract visitors, such as the Hue Festival 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival, and the Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair (ITE HCMC)... Tourism promotion activities have been intensified, contributing to attracting international tourists to the city.
Furthermore, the Department of Tourism will continue to coordinate with the Department of Health to issue a plan for developing medical tourism products, continue to advise on the implementation of the Medical Tourism Development Project from now until 2030, with a vision to 2045; promote the implementation of policies to develop MICE tourism in the city; increase the attractiveness of the destination to attract high-spending tourists while paying attention to honoring and encouraging tourism businesses to bring MICE tourists to the city.
