Compared to last year, the company has added over 10% more entertainment options with more diverse content, giving customers more choices than ever.

Emirates has invested heavily in inflight connectivity and Live TV. Today, 138 aircraft, including 18 A380s, offer Live TV. Wi-Fi is available on 90% of its fleet and more are being upgraded every month. Emirates passengers across all classes get 20MB of free Wi-Fi data, and more than 800,000 passengers connect to the internet while flying each month.
As part of the expansion of the inflight Wi-Fi offering, Emirates Skywards members enjoy privileges based on their membership tier and class of travel. SITAONAIR, which provides Emirates' personal inflight connectivity experience, also won the Best Personalisation Initiative award at the APEX Awards.

The Passenger Choice Awards are run by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) and invite travelers from around the world to rate and review their in-flight experiences. More than 500,000 flights between 24 October 2016 and 31 July 2017 were rated and ranked by travelers from around the world.
