The reality is that the number of people on the road, especially cars and bicycles, is growing rapidly. Meanwhile, the transportation system in Asian cities is still facing many difficulties in traffic separation and building reasonable traffic rules. Realizing this situation, Ford has launched a new immersive experience called "WheelSwap".
The launch experience aims to change driver behavior and reduce their conflict while driving. Initial research shows that almost all participants said they would change their behavior after participating in the experience.

The breakthrough point of this experience is that with the simulation videos, car drivers will experience the perspective of a bicycle and face the dangers when cars change direction suddenly or open car doors without observation. On the contrary, when playing the role of a car driver, cyclists will have to handle situations where cyclists change direction suddenly, thereby understanding how their daily actions, no matter how small, will greatly affect other road users.

With the vision of the “City of Tomorrow” project, Ford’s smart mobility strategy will synchronize vehicles, infrastructure, connectivity models and digital services to support people to move more confidently and comfortably. At the same time, Ford also integrates virtual reality technology into the free driving training program Ford Driving Skills For Life (DSFL) for more than 15,000 students in 14 provinces and cities in Vietnam.
