The awards ceremony took place on the campus of the British University Vietnam (BUV). Ten creative decorative designs for the EcoSport, showcasing various styles, were on display. These were also the works that received the highest ratings from the judging panel and online viewers.

After just over a month of implementation, the organizing committee received more than 76 design entries, showcasing diverse and unique styles, from traditional designs featuring the mythical Lac bird, Dong Son bronze drums, and traditional Vietnamese opera to youthful, modern graphic styles with a street-style vibe. The entries, displayed on various vehicle colors, created a unique look for each submission, along with meaningful messages such as honoring traditional values, protecting the environment, and affirming the status of women.
With its youthful design and flexible handling, the Ford EcoSport has inspired artists, encouraged individuals to find their own unique style, and served as a connecting factor for a community of creative young people with dynamic and individualistic lifestyles.

Inspired by the image of the mythical Lac bird, the winning entry by author Dao Quang Huy received high praise from the art council as well as the online community. “The Lac bird is always depicted with its wide wingspan, as if moving swiftly. These are also similarities I noticed when observing the EcoSport car. I chose the car's red color combined with gold accents, the two main colors of the Vietnamese national flag, to give viewers a feeling of closeness and national pride,” shared author Dao Quang Huy.

The Ford EcoSport, with its driver-assistance features, has always been a valuable asset for drivers, including female drivers – perhaps this is why there is a large number of female designers participating. Through their designs, they hope to express their own perspectives and personalities, as well as affirm the equal status of women, demonstrating their ability to take control of the steering wheel on the road and in life in general.
True to its SUV segment, the Ford EcoSport is a reliable companion and a top choice for young families in Vietnam. This was also demonstrated by Nguyen Quang Xuan Vinh, the second-place winner and an EcoSport owner, in his competition entry. “My entry was inspired by my family’s exploration journeys in the EcoSport. I incorporated images of landmarks my family has experienced with the car into the design. The vibrant colors are a metaphor for the joyful moments and memorable experiences we’ve had on each trip.”
The artwork won second prize at the car exhibition on July 13th.

After reaching the milestone of 20,000 vehicles produced at the end of 2018, the EcoSport continues to achieve impressive results, with 2,121 vehicles delivered to customers since the beginning of 2019. The new Ford EcoSport is equipped with many leading safety and smart technologies such as a 6-airbag system, the SYNC3 intelligent voice control and connectivity system, Electronic Stability Control, Smart Key, automatic wipers and headlights. The Ford EcoSport has a convenient interior design with 20 smart storage compartments and a sunroof, allowing drivers and passengers to connect with nature whenever they wish.
The Ford EcoSport is equipped with two engine options: the 1.5L Dragon engine and Ford's renowned 1.0L EcoBoost engine, along with electronic power steering and a choice of manual or the new SelectShift automatic transmission.
