Golf Tournament to Raise Fund for "Supporting Students to School" Scholarships

At a press conference held on the afternoon of August 12th at the Tuoi Tre newspaper office (60A Hoang Van Thu, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City), Mr. Vu Van Binh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre newspaper, shared: “The establishment and continued maintenance of the Golf tournament is very valuable to the 'Supporting Students to School' Scholarship Fund, because since its inception, the amount of money contributed by the tournament to the 'Supporting Students to School' program accounts for more than half of the total.”

Mr. Le Quoc Phong, General Director of Binh Dien Joint Stock Company, said: "Given the current difficult economic situation in our country, the fact that this meaningful golf tournament can still be maintained and developed compared to previous years is extremely valuable."

It is known that the amount of sponsorship money that the Golf Tournament has raised for the "Supporting Students to School" scholarship program has currently reached over 4 billion VND, equivalent to approximately 800 scholarships (5 million VND/scholarship).

In addition, at the competition on August 17th at Long Thanh Golf Course, sponsors also awarded prizes worth approximately 3.7 billion VND to athletes who won supplementary prizes such as Hole in One (hitting the ball into the hole with one stroke), Lucky Draw (lucky draw for prizes)...
