According to the Regulations on organizing the Vietnam Tourism Awards 2019, the subjects eligible for the award include types of tourism services including: Travel agencies, hotels, tourist transport businesses by car, waterway and air, restaurants serving tourists, tourist and entertainment areas, tourist stops, golf courses, tourism investment and business enterprises that have made great contributions to the development of Vietnam tourism.
In particular, in 2019, to encourage and motivate units that have made many contributions to the development of the tourism industry, the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism added to the Regulations on organizing the Vietnam Tourism Awards on considering and awarding two more fields: tourism human resource training facilities and media units that have made many contributions to the Vietnamese tourism industry.
The award is held to select and honor organizations, businesses and facilities that provide products to serve tourists, and at the same time have made positive contributions to the development of Vietnam's tourism. Besides the important meaning in building the national tourism brand, businesses... the award also promotes tourism to develop into a key economic sector of the country.
The award will enhance the ability to integrate and promote the image of the country's tourism in the international arena. Tourists will benefit by being able to choose and use the best services, brands and quality. In addition, units that do well in environmental protection and sustainable development also deserve to be honored.
