Gods of Egypt - The fierce battle between the Egyptian gods

As one of the most mysterious and enigmatic countries, Egypt is always filled with fascinating and mysterious ancient legends that serve as endless inspiration for cinematic works. This February, based on a famous Egyptian legend, "Gods of Egypt" will be a treat for moviegoers.

On the evening of February 25th, the film's premiere took place in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, attended by journalists and familiar faces from the entertainment industry: the couple Hoang Oanh and Huynh Anh, heartthrob Hua Vi Van, Kim Nha, BB Tran, hot girl Salim, Binh An, Vuong Anh, and others.

At 100 minutes long, the film captivated audiences with its intense fight scenes, realistic depictions of majestic Egypt, and awe-inspiring portrayals of the gods. With its spectacular and impressive 3D effects, the film satisfied viewers' expectations.

The film Gods of Egypt tells the story of an ordinary thief named Bek who joins forces with the gods of Egyptian mythology to undertake a magical quest. To succeed, he needs the help of the powerful god Horus and must fight against the alliance of the dark god Set, who has usurped the throne and plunged Egypt from a peaceful and prosperous nation into chaos. Coster-Waldau will play Horus – the god of the sky, along with Hathor – the goddess of love, and the mortal thief, to avenge the death of Osiris (Horus's father). The journey of revenge and the resurrection of Osiris is an extremely famous mythological tale of Egypt. The epic battle takes both gods and humans through the underworld and heaven, and both must overcome countless trials of courage and sacrifice if they want to win.

The film is adapted from the original work by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama, directed by Proyas and featuring a star-studded cast including Gerard Butler, Courtney Eaton, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Brenton Thwaites, Abbey Lee, Rufus Sewell, Elodie Yung, Geoffrey Rush, and Chadwick Boseman.

Butler plays Set, the god of darkness, who usurps the throne, rules the Egyptian empire, and plunges it into chaos. Thwaites plays Bek, Set's sworn enemy, who, with the help of the god Horus (played by Coster-Waldau), attempts to save the world and his love from Set's clutches.
