On June 10, 2025, Four Points by Sheraton Ha Giang Hotel was officially recognized as a 5-star hotel by the Vietnam National Tourism Administration. This is a significant milestone, affirming the quality of service and international standards of the first Four Points by Sheraton hotel managed by Marriott International in the far north of Vietnam.
Representatives from the provincial leadership, the Department of Culture, Sports & Tourism, the Tourism Promotion Center, the Ha Giang Provincial Tourism Association, the Vietnam Tourism Association, and the Four Points by Sheraton Ha Giang hotel received the bronze 5-star plaque.
The official announcement ceremony will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, in the main lobby of the Four Points by Sheraton Ha Giang Hotel. The ceremony is expected to be attended by representatives from the Ha Giang Provincial leadership, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ha Giang Provincial Tourism Promotion Center, the Ha Giang Provincial Tourism Association, as well as numerous partners, travel companies, and media outlets.
Ms. Vuong Ngoc Ha, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province, presented flowers to congratulate the event.
