Ha Tang, Phillip Nguyen, and Thuy Van are eagerly competing for the HCMC Run 2016.

HCMC Run 2016 was launched with the message "I Conquer," a campaign that spreads inspiration from the HCMC Run, first held in 2013. The campaign also aims to conquer oneself and share the achievements through simple yet humane stories.

2016 is a special year for the event as a host of Vietnamese celebrities will participate and conquer the challenge at the HCMC Run 2016, sponsored by Taiwan Excellence. Among them, Tang Thanh Ha will run the 5km distance, Phillip Nguyen the 21km, Thuy Van the 10km, and Che Nguyen Quynh Chau the 5km.

After a period of absence to focus more on her business and family, the leading lady of Vietnamese cinema, Tang Thanh Ha, decided to participate in the HCMC Run, conquering a 5km distance that she set for herself. Tang Thanh Ha was also one of the initiators of the HCMC Run – Conquering Phu My Bridge, which was held for the first time in 2013.

Returning to the race this year, Phillip Nguyen will not be simply in the role of an organizer or ambassador, he shared.“Following the success of the 2013 event, Phillip wants to join everyone on the race track to conquer his new personal goal. Phillip will be taking the HCMC Run in the 21km distance with an estimated time of 2 hours and 20 minutes (Pacer).”He also encouraged everyone to join him in the run and help him conquer this distance.

Also participating in the HCMC Run 2016 was beauty queen Pham Hong Thuy Van, 3rd runner-up of Miss International 2015 held in Japan. Thuy Van set a personal challenge for herself, aiming to conquer the 10km race. This will be Thuy Van's first goal to prove herself in 2016. She further shared..."Thuy Van is still involved in community activities, shows, and her role as an MC, so she needs to be in good physical condition and have a beautiful figure. Running is one of the sports she practices, so she decided to participate in this race.".

Che Nguyen Quynh Chau (Top 8 Next Top Model & Top 10 Miss Universe Vietnam) also participated in the training session. She plans to conquer the 5km race at HCMC Run 2016.

The HCMC Run 2016 – conquering Phu My Bridge will take place on January 24, 2016, in three distances: 21km, 10km, and 5km. This exciting event is a highlight of 2016 in Ho Chi Minh City, promoting a dynamic and healthy city. The race course is ready to welcome participants, and many training programs will be directly guided by professional coaches. Before the race begins, there will be attractive side activities such as the Kids Dash race for children, a prize draw, and a music program.
