The British Business Association in Vietnam is organizing a charity football tournament.

A charity fundraising football match between member companies of the British Business Group in Vietnam will be held from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on January 9, 2016, at the C500 Stadium of the People's Security Academy (19-5 Street, Van Quan, Ha Dong, Hanoi).

The UK Business Association Vietnam's member companies' charity football tournament, launched in September 2013 as part of the UK Business Week in Vietnam, has attracted participation from over 30 businesses over the past three years, raising 400 million VND to support charitable projects across Vietnam.

To conclude a successful year marked by the official visit of British Prime Minister David Cameron to Vietnam on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the signing of the bilateral Strategic Partnership in 2015, and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of BBGV's establishment as the first licensed international chamber of commerce in Vietnam, a charity football tournament for BBGV member companies will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016. This year, 16 teams will participate, including member and partner companies such as: British University Vietnam, British International School, Vietnam Airlines, PwC Vietnam, Jardines, HongKong Land, Coats Phong Phu, Luala Milano, Savills, Grant Thornton, Hilton, Intercontinental Hanoi Westlake, B. Braun, US Alumni, and notably, a team from the British Embassy with the participation of Ambassador Giles Lever. Players participating in this year's tournament all have a chance to win in the lucky draw two round-trip business class tickets to any destination in Southeast Asia on flights operated by Vietnam Airlines.
