Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Vu The Binh – Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association and President of the Vietnam Travel Association – stated that the United States is a large and potential market for Vietnamese tourism. Every year, tens of millions of American tourists travel abroad. Therefore, the Vietnam Travel Association always strives to establish a relationship with the US Travel Association to tap into this vast market. Relations between Vietnam and the United States are increasingly positive, and exchanges, especially in the economic sector, are developing rapidly, including tourism.

Mr. Binh also affirmed that establishing a good relationship between the Vietnam Travel Association and the US Travel Association will create favorable conditions for tourism businesses of the two countries to cooperate with each other, thereby contributing to a rapid increase in the number of US tourists to Vietnam and Vietnamese tourists to the US. The signing ceremony is the opening activity for a series of future events between Vietnamese and US tourism. It is hoped that this signing will create favorable conditions for a bright future of the relationship between the two countries, not only in the field of tourism.
