The festival to stimulate tourism and introduce Hanoi's signature non-alcoholic beverages was held for 3 days from June 26 to 28, 2020, at the Octagonal House area, Ly Thai To flower garden, Hoan Kiem district. The festival had more than 70 travel agencies, airlines and tourist areas/destinations participating, introducing thousands of tours with 30-50% discounts to visitors.

According to the organizers, the festival with booths, game shows and exciting activities such as art shows and parades attracted about 30,000 visitors. Businesses had an estimated revenue of about 21 billion VND from tour services and cheap air tickets sold directly at the booths. In particular, the Hanoi - Quang Binh train tour product, each train has 12 carriages organized by the Unesco Hanoi Travel Club, sold 70% of tour tickets in July.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Viet - Head of Tourism Promotion Department, Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion commented: "Although held in 3 days of hot weather, the festival still attracted a large number of visitors. The exciting programs, game shows and gifts worth over 200 million VND created a truly festive atmosphere!".

It can be seen that the tourism market in Hanoi in particular and the northern provinces in general has gradually grown again after the Covid-19 pandemic, especially with the upcoming summer vacation for students in July. In the summer, tourists mainly choose beach tourism routes. However, nearby destinations, accessible by personal vehicles, are also chosen by many families. Quy Nhon and Phu Quoc are the two most popular coastal areas besides the Central Highlands regions such as Pleiku and Buon Ma Thuot.

During this period, the unit also launched a night tour at Hoa Lo Prison Relic Site called "Sacred Night - Shining Vietnamese Spirit". The first tours, which were put into service from July 24, have been fully booked.

A representative of Vietnam Airlines said that the number of visitors to the airline's booth at the stimulus festival was about 10,000 people, especially crowded on the evening of June 27, when the street festival took place. Of which, about 1,000 air ticket codes with a 25% discount for all domestic routes were issued.
