To celebrate the 7th anniversary of the Thai Consulate General's 7th anniversary, the 84th birthday of Queen Sirikit of Thailand, and the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand, a fashion show titled "Magical Thai Silk Night" was held, organized by the Thai Consulate General.
With the skillful presentation by Miss Thailand and models from Thailand and Vietnam, visitors had the opportunity to admire the unique patterns and attractive colors of Mat mii silk from Buriram province, Thailand. This was also a good opportunity to gain a better understanding of Thailand's traditional textile industry.
With the theme of Thai silk, aiming to innovate the culture and shared heritage of silk weaving—a product found not only in Thailand and Vietnam but also a shared cultural heritage among ASEAN countries—the "Magical Thai Silk Night" evening paid homage to and promoted the tireless work of the Queen in improving the lives of the Thai people.
