Real Madrid Football Camp 2015 in Ho Chi Minh City

This program will be implemented in collaboration with the South Saigon International School (SSIS).

Through this camp, the Real Madrid Association aims to provide children with a unique experience while simultaneously promoting the importance of sports education.

Dr. Lionel Wong – Director, FRM Indochina Management Board, stated: “Sports education is just as important as formal education. Using children's passion for football as a means to teach them many important life skills and soft skills, such as teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, leadership, determination, respect, self-control, and many others that cannot be effectively taught in a classroom environment. Equipped with these skills, they can succeed and go further in life. This is the vision and mission of the Real Madrid Association – to inspire creativity and equip children with essential life skills through their passion for football.”

Real Madrid's coaches will be participating in training in Ho Chi Minh City along with their assistant staff. These are the same coaches who work with their youth teams in Spain.

The training methods and regimens are entirely based on the training programs of the current Real Madrid youth team. The coaches are UEFA-certified and will deliver a training program that is not easily found in Asia.

The training program at the camp is designed based on the philosophy of Real Madrid CF – one of the world's leading football clubs. The youth training program uses the same training techniques taught at Ciudad Real Madrid as their famous "La Fábrica" ​​training program. This is a $120 million program that has produced players like goalkeeper Ikar Casillas, considered the best goalkeeper in the world. Participants in the camp will have a unique opportunity to be trained using methods employed not only by players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, and Sergio Ramos, but also by many other top football stars.

The Real Madrid Football Camp training program will take place over 5 days, from April 13-17, 2015, for children aged 8 to 16. Participants will receive training from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM daily for 5 days at the SSIS football field.

Furthermore, as part of the camp's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and commitment to our local community, the Real Madrid Football Camp will work with the South Saigon International School (SSIS) to sponsor and provide similar opportunities for a group of 20 to 30 underprivileged children. The training program will be held daily from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM for 5 days for this group of disadvantaged children. The training will also take place at the SSIS football field, with a registration fee of VND 9,600,000 per registration (including one shirt and shorts).
