The 4-day holiday has given tourists more time to visit and experience tourism in Hue. Specifically, from April 27 to May 1, Thua Thien - Hue province is estimated to welcome about 110,000 tourists to the locality, the total number of guests booking accommodation is estimated at 58,000, the total revenue from tourism is estimated at 170 billion VND.
The number of visitors to the relic site during the holiday alone was more than 58,300, with estimated revenue reaching more than VND8.7 billion. Compared to the same period last year, the number of visitors to Thua Thien - Hue province increased by 15.8%, and tourism revenue increased by 9.7%.

In particular, the number of visitors to the Complex of Hue Monuments - World Cultural Heritage Site in the 4 days of April 29-30 and May 1-2 reached a record high of 69,031 visitors, including 11,272 international visitors and 57,741 domestic visitors. Especially on May 1, the Hue heritage site welcomed 24,313 visitors who bought tickets to visit, the highest ever.
According to the Department of Tourism, the number of visitors to Hue during the holidays this year is due to the effect of large-scale festival events that attract many tourists and locals to visit and experience such as Hue Traditional Cuisine Week, Thuan An Sea Call, A Luoi and Nam Dong highland markets... which have attracted thousands of visitors.
In addition, local festival activities and programs are planned to ensure stability, safety and quality.
The increase in the number of tourists to Hue during the April 30 - May 1 holiday is a positive signal for the local tourism industry. This is also an opportunity for Hue to promote tourism, attracting more tourists to visit in the coming time.
