Since establishing diplomatic relations between Israel and Vietnam in 1993, the two countries have witnessed strong cooperation and exchange in many areas, from politics, trade, and agriculture to technology, education, and culture.

Always considering culture as an ideal bridge between people, the Israeli embassy has organized many different cultural activities such as film festivals, exhibitions, contemporary dance performances, music programs, etc.

The Israeli Embassy is delighted to be bringing an Israeli band, Garden City Movement (GCM), to the Monsoon Music Festival 2017 on the evening of November 12th at Thang Long Imperial Citadel. GCM is a leading Israeli electronic music group, formed in 2014, consisting of three members: Roi Avital (Vocal, Keyboards, Guitar), Joe Saar (Guitar, Sampler, Keyboards), and Johnny Sharoni (Vocals, Sampler, Percussion). With diverse music ranging from indie pop and electronica to chillwave and triphop, GCM is a distinctive representative of modern Israeli music, blending tradition with global musical styles.

After three successful years, the Monsoon Music Festival has become a familiar source of entertainment for music lovers in the capital. This year, the festival will continue to feature a diverse range of musical genres and bring together many talented artists from around the world.
