Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Israel and Vietnam in 1993, the two countries have witnessed strong development of cooperation and exchange in many aspects, from politics, trade, agriculture to technology, education and culture.

Always considering culture as an ideal bridge between people, the Israeli embassy has organized many different cultural activities such as film festivals, exhibitions, contemporary dance, music programs...

The Embassy of Israel is delighted to bring for the first time an Israeli band - Garden City Movement (GCM) to attend the Monsoon Music Festival 2017 on the evening of November 12 at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long. GCM is a leading Israeli electronic music group, founded in 2014, consisting of three members: Roi Avital (Vocals, Keyboards, Guitar), Joe Saar (Guitar, Sampler, Keyboards) and Johnny Sharoni (Vocals, Sampler, Percussion). With music ranging from indie pop, electronica to chillwave and triphop, GCM is a unique representative of modern Israeli music, blending tradition with the rhythms of world music.

After 3 years of successful organization, Monsoon Music Festival has become a familiar spiritual food for music lovers in the capital. This year, the Festival will continue to take place with many diverse music genres, gathering many talented artists from many places around the world.
