This is an annual festival held periodically on the 9th day of the first lunar month every year, leaving its mark on the Buddhist community and tourists from all over as an important spiritual address in the pilgrimage to pray for peace every year when Tet comes and spring returns. The rich cultural features of the festival tradition of the Northwest highlands are also spread widely to Buddhists and tourists from all over the world.

After the opening drum beat, Buddhist monks, nuns and tourists happily made a pilgrimage to the sacred "Heavenly Gate" Fansipan, to admire the majestic spiritual and cultural complex.

In addition, visitors to the Fansipan Heaven Gate Spring Festival will be immersed in the Northwest Tet atmosphere with the overwhelming colors of flowers, the sound of H'Mong flutes, folk games and unique highland cuisine at the "Northwest Spring Colors" Flower Flutes Festival taking place at Sun World Fansipan Legend.
