Fansipan Sapa cable car line officially opens.

On the morning of February 2nd, the Fansipan Sapa cable car system (Lao Cai province) officially commenced operation. The completion of this cable car line allows tourists to travel to the "roof of Indochina" in just 15 minutes, instead of the previous 2 days and 1 night.

At the opening ceremony on February 2nd, representatives from Guinness World Records presented two Guinness World Records certificates to the Fansipan Sapa cable car: the three-wire cable car with the largest difference in elevation between the departure and arrival stations in the world (1410m) and the longest three-wire cable car in the world (6292.5m).
