Another cherry blossom season is upon us, these delicate yet proud blossoms spreading a joyful atmosphere everywhere. What are you waiting for? Pack your bags and head to Moc Chau, Hanoi, and Da Lat to enjoy the intoxicating sweetness of a region ablaze with the vibrant pink of spring.

Sapa

It can be said that throughout the northern highlands, nowhere can compare to Sapa when it comes to peach blossoms. Sapa is famous for its pale pink peach blossoms, with five-petaled flowers. Ancient peach trees, their trunks and branches gnarled with moss, sprout buds and bloom, warming the entire mountain forest. The blossoms blanket the hillsides, peeking out along the roadsides, from the town center to the villages and foothills...

In particular, for nearly a decade now, the exquisitely blooming Japanese cherry blossoms around the town's central lake have become an impressive highlight, creating a unique beauty of Sapa. The vibrant red cherry blossoms, growing in clusters and swaying in the wind, resemble fiery red flames, perfectly complementing the soft sunlight warming the misty town. However, this pink cherry blossom curtain only shines brightly for about 7-15 days in January, so you need to hurry to avoid missing this magical spring blossom display.

Moc Chau

There was a time when talking about Moc Chau meant talking about endless, lush green tea hills stretching as far as the eye could see. But now, when people talk about Moc Chau, they remember much more, perhaps only the seasons of flowers, especially the plum and peach blossoms. When the weather begins to turn chilly in late autumn and early winter, a new color and fragrance adorns the Moc Chau landscape, adding a touch of warmth and painting every path pink: the French peach blossoms.

French peach blossoms are pale in color and have few petals, blooming profusely for 2 to 3 weeks. Although early-blooming peach blossoms are not found in many places, their delicate pink petals still add a unique and enchanting beauty to the Moc Chau plateau. And when spring begins to spread its first sweet rays of sunshine, the wild peach trees throughout Moc Chau simultaneously burst into bloom, showcasing their vibrant colors.

Interspersed among the pristine white of plum blossoms, the delicate pink of peach blossoms peeks out like a charming smile, blending together to create a breathtaking spectacle, transforming Moc Chau into a paradise amidst the clouds. The areas with the most peach blossoms are the villages of Long Luong commune – peaceful Hmong villages nestled right along National Highway 6.

Stopping by the roadside, you'll be stunned by the vibrant pink of peach blossoms everywhere, from the mountains to the valleys below. The trees stand close together, and amidst this magnificent pink hue, glimpses of simple tiled roofs can be seen. Peach blossoms are also likened to the rosy cheeks of the local people each spring. In the midst of spring, this peaceful and warm scene makes one feel how beautiful and worthwhile life is.

Da Lat

Spring arrives in the city of a thousand pine trees when the gnarled, slender brown cherry trees around Xuan Huong Lake and along Tran Hung Dao, Le Dai Hanh, and Hai Ba Trung streets begin to sprout delicate pink buds. Dalat cherry blossoms have a very special origin; their trunks resemble those of peach trees in Northern Vietnam, while their flowers have five petals, similar to plum blossoms.

Cherry blossoms burst into bloom, painting the streets and corners pink, as if dressing the dreamy city in a delicate yet wild and passionate cloak. And even though the flowering season is short, only about a month in early spring, it's enough to captivate and enchant anyone who gets to admire its beauty. Dalat in spring has golden sunshine like honey, and the cherry blossoms are as beautiful as dreams, brimming with affection, waiting for wandering souls.

Hanoi

When talking about places known for their peach blossoms, Hanoi cannot be overlooked. Peach blossoms can be found in many places in Northern Vietnam, but when it comes to peach blossoms during Tet (Lunar New Year), the most famous are those from Nhat Tan – Hanoi. Tet is a time for family reunions, children and grandchildren gathering together, homes warm and cozy, and peach blossoms and kumquat trees adding to the festive spring atmosphere.

When visiting Hanoi in the spring, don't forget to stop by Nhat Tan to admire the cherry blossoms.

It's strange, though, that while all kinds of flowers bloom in spring, a single peach blossom branch can replace them all. Seeing the peach blossoms with their delicate pink petals signals the arrival of spring and the approaching Tet (Lunar New Year). Nhat Tan peach blossoms are cultivated, the result of much hard work and care; enjoying peach blossoms during Tet is a refined pastime for the people of Hanoi.

The peach blossom trees of Nhat Tan village are often shaped into elaborate dragon and phoenix forms, suitable for wishing good luck and prosperity during Tet. The pink peach blossom is a popular variety and a characteristic feature of Nhat Tan village. Its branches are vibrant with color and full of buds. Besides that, there is also the double-flowered pink peach blossom, with its subtly elegant hue. For a long time, Nhat Tan peach blossoms have become a unique symbol of Tet in the hearts of Hanoians, and every year at the beginning of the year, the hearts of the capital's residents eagerly await a glimpse of peach blossoms passing by on the streets, heralding sunshine, spring, and the arrival of Tet.

Ha Giang

Those who still long for the peach blossom season of Tet (Lunar New Year) shouldn't be sad, because there's still Ha Giang. This rocky plateau with its strangely beautiful natural scenery also has a very unique peach blossom season: the peach blossoms of March. When the spring atmosphere has passed halfway, and the festive atmosphere has subsided, the delicate peach blossoms on the rocky mountains burst into bloom.

Here, every house has a peach tree, on the mountain slopes and passes, but the most beautiful is undoubtedly the Dong Van - Meo Vac road, with a map of flowers stretching along Sung La, Pho La, Pho Bang, Pho Cao, Lung Cu, Ma Le, Thai Phin Tung… or right in front of the Vuong family mansion, Sa Phin market. The carpets of vibrant peach blossoms cover the solitary, jagged rocks, highlighting the beauty that retains a wild yet poetic charm of the rocky plateau during springtime.
