Instead of grand stages with dazzling sound and lighting systems, young singers now tend to take their performances further afield, to spaces closer to nature, setting up stages closer to the audience and catering to a smaller group of music lovers.
Perhaps the most recent example is Ha Anh Tuan's authentic, down-to-earth shows in the dreamy city of Da Lat. From the "See, Sing, Share" series of live shows to the most recent "Veston Concert" in April, Ha Anh Tuan has proven his appeal, with every show selling out regardless of how far the venue is from the city center. Following the success of the concerts, the number of airline tickets and hotel/homestay bookings in Da Lat has also skyrocketed.
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Ha Anh Tuan is the most successful singer, even though he wasn't the pioneer in bringing live shows to tourist destinations. Nearly 10 years ago, Le Cat Trong Ly brought her music to the remote Sapa, and those who fell in love with her pure, simple, and down-to-earth style flocked to Sapa to enjoy her singing amidst the mountains.
Amidst the peaceful landscape, through the forests, carried by the wind, the artist's voice naturally enters the hearts of the audience. And having fallen in love with that voice, people don't mind spending a few days in Da Lat or Sapa to rest, relax, and discover the captivating charm of the places the artists have chosen for their live shows.

The success of small-scale outdoor live music shows is breathing new life into the growing entertainment needs of audiences. Capitalizing on this trend, many regular live music venues have been established in attractive tourist destinations.
Da Lat has always been a popular tourist destination, but after being chosen as a venue for many artists' musical performances, it has become an even more familiar and frequent destination for young people. The regular music program "May Lang Thang" (Wandering Clouds) has left a lasting impression on visitors with its intimate and simple performances by young artists. The series of live shows "The Portrait of May" or "Dialogue on the Clouds" have long been listed as must-see experiences for tourists visiting Da Lat.
“Wow Sunset – A Sunset Music Party on the Sea” in Phu Quoc was also a successful stage that captivated the hearts of many tourists and music lovers. Without the crowds of thousands in a concert or extravagant, grandiose designs, what the audience could feel here was the gentle murmur of the waves, the poetic beauty of the sunset, and the singing of the artists on a low stage near the sea.
