In addition, the council members also agreed on several points, including: the voting regulations and the list of nominees for each award. Each award must be based on specific criteria such as: stable factors (landscape beauty, course design, challenge level, unique and impressive holes, natural environment, climate, etc.), and variable factors (welcome and service, changing rooms, showers, quality of F&B, overall management: convenience, speed of procedures, problem-solving, timely support, course maintenance, environmental friendliness, caddie quality, contributions to the golf movement and society, etc.).
The awards determined by the judging panel include: Best Golf Course in Vietnam 2014-2015, Best Clubhouse, Best Caddie, Most Attractive Golf Course for Tourists, and Best Par 3, 4, and 5 Golf Course.
Readers' Choice Awards: Golf Course with the Most Enjoyable Golfing Experience, Golf Course with the Most Beautiful Scenery, Golf Course with the Most Challenging Performance.
In this 6th edition, in addition to the titles awarded by the judging panel, several titles will be based on direct voting by readers on the event's official website:www.vietnamgolfmagazine.netIn particular, golf enthusiasts can participate in the voting on the fanpage:www.facebook.com/VietnamGolfMagazine.
Starting on January 1, 2015, the voting will end on July 31, 2015. After compiling the online voting data, the Organizing Committee will coordinate with golf courses to conduct survey trips for experts (members of the Judging Panel) to most of the operating golf courses in Vietnam.
The judging panel is responsible for independently scoring each member's work on a scoring scale provided by the Organizing Committee, ensuring objectivity, fairness, accuracy, and accountability for their scores. After compiling the voting results, they must report to the Judging Panel for review and final decision on the awarded titles.
