How has the mindset of "customers" changed?
Alongside economic development, the lifestyles of individuals have also begun to change. While previously people only cared about satisfying their hunger, later on, they prioritized delicious and appealing food, and eventually, all of that gave way to a trend towards healthy and wholesome meals.
Owning a vehicle is similar. In Vietnam, motorcycles are no longer simply a necessity but an expression of the owner's personality and style. Therefore, people are starting to look for new, unique, diverse models that suit them. Scooters and sporty manual transmission motorcycles have thus developed strongly, overshadowing the popular automatic transmission motorcycles. According to data from the Vietnam Motorcycle Manufacturers Association (VAMM), in 2016, scooters accounted for approximately 55% of sales, while manual transmission motorcycles accounted for 45%.
With a foundation of Japanese quality, the four brands—GS batteries, NGK spark plugs, Idemitsu lubricants, and IRC tires—always bring the best products to Vietnamese customers.
As motorcycles become an integral part of life for their users, customers pay more attention to this "representative" of their vehicle, especially in the area of spare parts – something often overlooked during use.
Most motorcycle users only replace typical accessories like spark plugs, batteries, engine oil, or tires when they malfunction or the engine breaks down. In reality, to ensure smooth and safe operation, these accessories also need regular maintenance and replacement.

Representatives from the companies shared their plans and the significance of the program.
The message is "Treat your car like you treat your body."
According to statistics from the event organizers in 2016, 73% of customers did not know how to properly maintain their batteries, such as performing regular checks, adding water to the battery, and inspecting and cleaning the terminal connections; up to 65% of customers paid little attention to spark plugs, even replacing them only once every 4-5 years; over 80% of customers only cared about underinflated tires and paid little attention to tread depth, tire pattern, and standard tire pressure; 50% of customers chose engine oil based on the advice of mechanics without understanding the function and suitability of each type of oil for their motorcycle.
This is similar to how many people often neglect their own health, rarely going for regular check-ups and ignoring health signs. On the other hand, taking good care of your motorbike is also an indirect way to maintain your own health and safety, the safety of those around you, and especially to create positive emotions in life.
Understanding the importance of maintaining a perfectly maintained vehicle, the event organizers, in addition to providing car care services, also advised and guided customers on useful knowledge for proper vehicle maintenance, contributing to safer driving.
Customers will experience activities at the "Car Care Day" such as: checking and topping up the battery with distilled water, replacing spark plugs every 8,000 km, checking tires, choosing the right type of engine oil, etc. In addition, the event also provides a fun space with games like tire and oil bottle jigsaw puzzles or testing dexterity with electronic games like "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"...
Battery care and maintenance by GS Batteries

Sharing a common foundation of Japanese quality, GS batteries, NGK spark plugs, Idemitsu lubricants, and IRC tires are world-renowned brands with a long history. The "Vehicle Care Day" program, in collaboration with these four motorcycle accessory brands, will bring many practical benefits to customers.

Furthermore, Idemitsu (Japan), with over 100 years of experience producing genuine lubricants for Japanese automobile and motorcycle engines such as Honda and Yamaha, provides customers with fuel-efficient products and optimal engine protection. With the confidence of a Japanese motorcycle tire manufacturer since 1926, IRC (INOUE) specializes in supplying genuine OEM tires and technical rubber products for Honda and Yamaha, making it an indispensable partner for the "Vehicle Care Day." Currently, IRC holds 60% of the motorcycle tire market share in Vietnam.
During the event, attending customers received free vehicle maintenance and inspection services, including battery, spark plug, oil, and tire care, from a team of professional technicians. The four-step process consisted of: Battery care and maintenance from GS; Oil condition check and advice from Idemitsu; Spark plug inspection and maintenance from NGK; and Tire care and maintenance from IRC. In addition, customers were provided with valuable knowledge on how to properly use motorcycle parts, ensuring both cost savings and safety while driving.
Beyond offering genuine services, the "Car Care Day" also reflects the customer-centric philosophy of the four leading auto parts brands, ensuring satisfaction and peace of mind for their valued customers. Thanks to the understanding and care of these brands, Vietnamese customers now have more opportunities to receive quality car care and gain valuable knowledge to become smart consumers.
The "Vehicle Care Festival" will kick off at the Long Xuyen Stadium in An Giang province on April 15-16. Following that, the program will continue to reach customers in Nha Trang in June, Hue in August, and Nam Dinh in November. The program is organized to provide useful care activities and knowledge for motorcycle users, contributing to building a safe and civilized transportation system in Vietnam.
