Not only Da Lat, cherry blossoms are also blooming in Kon Tum to welcome spring.

About 60km from Kon Tum city center, Mang Den town, Kon Plong district is considered as "second Da Lat" and is brilliant with cherry blossoms from hundreds of flower trees throughout the town.

The climate in Mang Den town is cold all year round, the end of winter and early spring is the favorable time for cherry blossoms to bloom. This type of flower is very special, the tree trunk resembles peach or plum trees, but the flowers have five petals like apricot blossoms.

To admire the Mai Anh Dao flowers, visitors can go to some places such as Mang Den central park, the road up to Ngoc Le mountain, and Dak Ke lake.

Cherry blossoms are mainly grown along the banks of Dak Ke lake in the eco-tourism area.

These days, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, attracting tourists from all over to Mang Den to admire the beauty of nature in the spring weather. According to local people, the flowers will fade in 15 to 20 days, so tourists who plan to travel should plan their trip now.
