The entire space of the Vietnam Cultural and Art Exhibition Center will be designed, arranged, and colored to reflect the characteristics of the Vietnamese Tet holiday, with a visually stunning display and artistic design.

In this event, the Vietnamese Tet (Lunar New Year) is recreated through simple and familiar things: the five-fruit tray, the pot of banh chung (traditional rice cake), Tet couplets, thatched-roof houses, lotus ponds, laterite wells... Within the framework of the Spring Festival, artisans from traditional craft villages also showcase their skills, such as: Thanh Tien paper flowers (Hue), Chau Khe silver carving (Hai Duong), lantern making (Thuong Tin - Hanoi), Son Dong fine arts (Hoai Duc, Hanoi), bamboo dragonfly making (Thach That - Hanoi), Chuong conical hat making (Thanh Oai - Hanoi)...

In addition, visitors can learn more about the nature, the country, the cultural characteristics of ethnic groups across the country, cultural heritage sites, scenic spots, and images of traditional Tet celebrations... through hundreds of photos in the exhibition themed "Spring Journey Through Heritage Regions"...

In particular, the exhibition area showcasing Vietnamese Tet (Lunar New Year) past and present offers fascinating perspectives on images of Tet before 1975; Tet after reunification and before the Doi Moi (Renovation) period; and Tet today. Regardless of the era, despite difficulties and shortages, Tet has always been warm and cozy, a time for family reunions, and an enduring cultural tradition...
Besides unique cultural and artistic activities, the Spring Festival also serves as a venue for showcasing and introducing clean and safe food products to meet consumer needs during the 2018 Lunar New Year.
