MAXXI - National Museum of Contemporary Art of the 21st Century is the national museum of contemporary art and architecture in Rome, founded and managed by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage. The museum is a multidisciplinary space designed by Zaha Hadid, with the aim of experimentation and innovation in art and architecture. MAXXI Architecture (the section dedicated to architecture) is the first national museum of architecture in Italy.

The exhibition's collection of images represents the most prominent "new" Italian architectural styles, working from three parallel directions: authors, projects and themes. The presentation of the authors and their biographies will provide an overview of the training of Italian architects and how they are today more integrated into global cultural and professional contexts than in the last decades of the 20th century.
The project section aims to highlight some completely outstanding examples, often made at the request of individual and institutional clients. The third direction describes the new interest in topics related to the most recent research ideas, such as expressive style, society, science, technology and environmental innovation.
The connections between the points mentioned above allow you to identify some of the most interesting Italian architects as well as provide a panoramic view of the horizon of a rapidly developing world.
Special issues addressed in the exhibition are the environment and sustainable development, integration with new technologies, public spaces and the relationship between the lives of old and new communities, attitudes towards recycling existing buildings, the quality of the landscape (urban and rural), quality and innovation in housing projects, and the relationship with historical monuments.
The exhibition will open at 6pm on February 6 and end on March 2 at 18 Le Phung Hieu, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.
