World Music Festival in Hanoi

At 8:00 p.m. on June 21, at Pullman Hanoi Hotel, the audience will be able to join the World Music Festival on June 21, immersing themselves in the hot and wild West African music combined with the clear sounds of Vietnamese folk music.

Featuring special guest musician, singer, and songwriter Musbaba Traore from Mali. Musbaba is a musician, composer, and singer from Mali. His style is afro-pop-bambana, blending traditional Malian sounds with world music. He plays all kinds of percussion instruments and a traditional string instrument called the n’goni.

Musbaba currently lives and works in Hanoi (Vietnam) and is working on a project that combines Malian-Vietnamese musical styles. He incorporates traditional Vietnamese instruments (the Zither) into his musical compositions, resulting in melodies that blend the fiery tones of West African music with the melodious sounds of the East.
