Scheduled to take place from April 20 to April 22, 2018 at Mon City My Dinh - Hanoi and from April 27 to April 29, 2018 at 30/10 Square, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province, this series of events is in response to "National Tourism Year 2018" with the theme "Ha Long Heritage, Wonder - Friendly Destination". The Asian Food and Culture Festival 2018 (Mon Asian Food Festival - MAFF 2018) is organized with the aim of honoring the quintessence and diversity of cuisine as well as cultural characteristics of countries in the Asian region. The festival has the participation of culinary and tourism ambassadors, cultural and artistic delegations from Vietnam and Asian countries including Japan, Korea, Myanmar... along with the participation of many singers, artists, DJs and leading Vietnamese and international culinary experts. The program is expected to attract 30,000 people to attend the event each day in Hanoi and 500,000 people in Ha Long.
With the desire to create a truly attractive and appealing festival in terms of activities, worthy of an international festival, many programs have been built to serve individuals and families in Hanoi, Ha Long, neighboring provinces and Vietnamese and international tourists, promising an extremely exciting start to a vibrant and fiery summer.
Asian Food and Culture Festival in Hanoi (April 20-22, 2018)

Taking place at Mon City My Dinh, No. 2 Le Duc Tho Street, My Dinh, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi. The program will start at 10:00 am every day with dance and magic performances by international art troupes. In addition, there will be bartender shows, cooking demonstrations by star Vo Quoc, chef Hai Anh, and a special appearance by international star chef Martin Yan with the famous "Yan Can Cook" program. In particular, the 3 nights of the program will be 3 music nights with the participation of many top singers and bands such as My Tam, Duc Phuc, Hoa Minzy, Huynh Tien, Dinh Manh Ninh, Hoang Yen Chibi, Sambi, S Girl, Pocket Girl... With more than 100 food stalls from many countries, attendees will enjoy many typical and famous dishes of the cuisines.
Asian Food and Culture Festival in Ha Long (April 27 - April 29, 2018)
Taking place at 30/10 Square, Tran Quoc Nghien Street, Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City, this event is considered a colorful festival and has the scale of an international festival. In 3 days, the festival will bring a lot of joy to young people and families. Young people who love adventure can fly with a hot air balloon to see the whole festival from above, or join the colorful MonRun race to join hands to contribute to the "Vietnam Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims Fund".

In addition to the chef's cooking performances, instructions on how to cook delicious dishes for the family right on stage, and bartender performances, there are many cultural activities imbued with the national identity of other countries. During the 3 nights, the exciting performance program will feature the participation of "brown-haired nightingale" My Tam, famous DJ Markus Schulz and singers - music groups Duong Edward, Yanbi, OnlyC, Karik, BB star... In Ha Long, more than 100 food stalls will also introduce to tourists and visitors on this occasion the "national dishes" of many countries around the world.
Expected to be a special event, creating a new level for the festival, the Organizing Committee has built a program full of color, character and activities of an international festival. Therefore, this festival will bring many new experiences for visitors.
MonRun Colorful Run
As the most meaningful and humane activity in the 2018 Asian Food and Culture Festival, the MonRun colorful run for those who love exercise and music will take place at 4:00 p.m. on April 29, 2018. MonRun participants will be given a kit including 1 MonRun T-shirt and 2 colored bags to throw on the run. The MonRun kit will be distributed during the event days in Hanoi and Ha Long. In addition, outside the MonRun information booth, there will be a charity donation box for the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange / Dioxin. MonRun participants can donate right at the MonRun information booth or can donate on the program's official website by using the MonPay e-wallet and capturing the MonRun QR code on the program's official website (monrun.vn).
The Mon Run is 3km long and is divided into 05 stages, at each stage there will be interesting and fun activities at 5 stations with the colors red, pink, yellow, blue and green. A special offer for those who finish the Mon Run and return is to enter the VIP area of the EDM music event at night, promising to experience unforgettable impressions right on one of the most beautiful roads in the coastal city of Ha Long.
