More than just a food festival, "Balade en France" offers an opportunity to explore diverse French culture. At the festival, visitors can enjoy signature dishes, admire cooking demonstrations, and chat with talented French chefs. In addition, the festival features an area showcasing exquisite French handicrafts, giving you the chance to acquire unique souvenirs.
The French Food Festival in Vietnam - "Balade en France" 2024 is co-organized by the French Embassy in Vietnam and the Hanoi People's Committee.
In particular, this year's festival also aims to celebrate the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The sports village covers an area of 300 square meters.2It will be a place where the whole family can have fun and try their hand at sports such as basketball, soccer, archery, darts, badminton, table tennis, etc.
Ambassador Olivier Brochet of France to Vietnam stated: “This year's festival is centered around the slogan 'Flavors of Cuisine, Colors of Sport'. To convey the festival's message, the vibrant culinary festival atmosphere remains the main feature of Balade en France this year, along with the first-ever appearance of the Sports Village. Through this, we also hope to encourage healthy habits through the selection of quality food and sports activities, to maintain a healthy life.”
The French Ambassador to Vietnam, Olivier Brochet, shared this at a press conference.
Notably, according to the organizers, this year's festival will feature appearances by KOLs such as: Thang Long Warriors football team, Celine Nha Nguyen (Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha) - the first Vietnamese woman to conquer Mount Everest...
The Balade en France 2024 festival offers both a culinary and cultural paradise, as well as a vibrant feast of music and dance. On Friday and Saturday evenings, you'll have the chance to enjoy two nights of special artistic performances. The New Life Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of conductor Dong Quang Vinh, will present classic symphonies. Singers Thu Thuy, Hua Thanh Tu, Etienne, DJ Jahmadinho, and singer Hoang Dung will liven up the atmosphere with romantic and energetic songs.
The highlight of "Balade en France" in 2024 is the promotion of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

In addition, Balade en France is also a playground for those who love street dance. Veteran Bboys and Bgirls from Vietnam, along with students from French-speaking schools in Hanoi, will bring you technically skilled and creative performances.
The special edition of “Balade en France” will kick off with an opening ceremony at 7 PM on April 5th, and will be open to the public from 10 AM to 10 PM on April 6th and from 10 AM to 8 PM on April 7th.
For the first time, the "Balade en France" festival was held at Thong Nhat Park.
