The recognition of Thầy Pagoda Festival as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage is a significant event, marking the unique historical and cultural value of the festival. This is a source of pride for the local people, contributing to the promotion of tourism and the dissemination of the nation's traditional culture.
This occasion is one of the major festivals held in the region, attracting a large number of local people and tourists from many different places. A highlight of the festival is the organization of unique and distinctive traditional rituals such as the opening ceremony, the bathing of the ancestral tablets, the procession of the ancestral tablets, the ceremony of offering prayers for the opening of the festival, and the procession of the villages to the main temple.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong presented the decision recognizing "Traditional Festival of Thay Pagoda, Sai Son Commune, Quoc Oai District" as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
In addition to traditional ceremonies, the festival also provides a space to recreate the daily life and production activities of the community, along with traditional folk games. This creates a vibrant and engaging atmosphere, giving people the opportunity to experience and participate in local culture in an authentic and colorful way.
At the ceremony, locals and tourists enjoyed the art program "Quoc Oai - The Source of Heritage," featuring many unique performances such as traditional opera, folk opera, gong performances, and puppet shows. All performances were meticulously prepared, embodying the immense historical, cultural, and human values of Quoc Oai.

Throughout the festival, at the Thầy Pagoda area, the Organizing Committee arranged 150 stalls to introduce and promote cultural, tourism, culinary, handicraft, and OCOP products for visitors to explore and purchase.
In addition, the event includes art performances, sports activities, recreational experiences, traditional folk games such as swinging and wrestling, culinary enjoyment, and a live performance showcasing the "Essence of Northern Vietnam".
