Frank’s African adventure began in 2005 when he decided to follow his passion and curiosity to West Africa. Since then he has travelled through Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Benin and Nigeria, building one of the most unique collections of African vinyl records in the world. But it hasn’t been easy, Frank has endured riots, been stranded, been robbed; followed old sailors around Freetown and used insect nets to retrieve records; and travelled thousands of kilometres over muddy roads – all to discover unique sounds.
