From March 23-26, the Cherry Blossom Festival will be held in the Ly Thai To Monument Flower Garden area, Hoan Kiem District. The festival is part of the Japan Cultural Exchange Festival to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.

The event contributes to promoting and showcasing the image, cultural beauty, country, and people of Japan to the people of Hanoi. The festival features various spaces introducing Japan, such as tea ceremony, Go (the board game), the traditional game Kendama, and Japanese cuisine. Additionally, there will be a Yosakoi dance performance with approximately 15 participating teams (each team consisting of 15-100 people) on Dinh Tien Hoang and Ly Thai To streets.

According to the organizers, at this festival, Hanoi city and the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam will display approximately 30 cherry blossom trees and 10,000 cherry blossom branches, ornamental plants, and some characteristic flowers of Vietnam and Hanoi.
