In particular, beautiful, unique and strange peach tree shapes are sought after by many peach tree players. The most typical are the gathering peach tree shape (including a large, straight canopy and many small canopies around it, symbolizing the gathering of children and grandchildren), the five-blessing shape (including 4 lower forks and 1 upper fork), the husband and wife shape (two branches intertwined)... Peach blossoms in Lang Son are very diverse, from wild peach trees, house peach trees, seven-inch peach trees or more rare are hundreds of years old peach trees, so the flower varieties are also rich such as single peach blossoms, double peach trees, bich peach trees, faded peach trees, white peach trees...
2017 is the first year that the Lang Peach Blossom Festival is held with the message "Brilliant peach blossoms of Lang" taking place from January 20 to February 6, 2017 (from December 23, Binh Than year to January 10, Dinh Dau year) at Chi Lang Park, Hung Vuong street, Lang Son city. Accordingly, the festival is arranged into 2 spaces including Landscape space and Peach Blossom Exhibition. The landscape space is arranged according to the theme "Mountains - Rivers and Flowers" simulating Tuyet Mau Son Mountain, Ky Cung river, Flowers and People of Lang, combined with 120 beautiful peach trees running along the banks of Ky Cung river. In addition, the Peach Blossom Exhibition Space is built into a decorative peach blossom road interwoven with 65 peach trees participating in the exhibition.
This is considered an important event contributing to the preservation and promotion of the value of Peach Blossoms in Lang Son, creating Peach Blossoms to become the image and brand recognition of Lang Son. Visiting the festival, visitors will have the opportunity to see with their own eyes the precious peach varieties that nature has favored and bestowed upon Lang Son, and at the same time enjoy artistic performances imbued with the national identity of Lang Son such as then singing, sli singing, street music and attend the first exhibition of beautiful Peach Blossoms in Lang Son province.
