Notably, a new highlight of this year's festival will be the fire dance of the Red Dao ethnic group, promising to impress visitors. In addition, Sa Pa district is currently preparing for a street festival featuring parades and performances showcasing the unique cultural costumes of various ethnic groups, combined with lion and dragon dances along the central streets on the night of December 31st.
According to forecasts, Sa Pa will experience very cold winters this year, so there is a high possibility of ice or snow covering the mountain town, creating a beautiful, European-like landscape that will attract tourists.
