Attending the scholarship awarding ceremony were Mr. Bui Van Linh – Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Political Education and Student Affairs; Ms. Lee Mi Yeon – Minister Counselor and Consul General, Deputy Ambassador of Korea to Vietnam; Mr. Lee Jung Wook - Vice President of the Lotte Scholarship Foundation; Mr. Lim Sung Bok, General Director of Lotte Hotel Hanoi; Mr. Kim Jong Min – Deputy General Director of Lotte Coralis Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Mr. Eom Sun Woong – General Director of Lotte Department Store; Mr. Lee Jun Kyu - Chief Financial Officer of Lotte Department Store; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan – Rector of Foreign Trade University, along with vice rectors, teachers, and scholarship recipients.

At the 21st Lotte Scholarship Award Ceremony, scholarships were awarded to 78 students from 8 universities in Hanoi, including: Vietnam National University, Hanoi (University of Foreign Languages, University of Economics, University of Social Sciences and Humanities), Hanoi University, Foreign Trade University, Hanoi University of Technology, University of Civil Engineering, National Economics University, Academy of Finance, and Thang Long University. Many of these students have overcome difficult family circumstances to achieve excellent academic results at university. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Lim Sung Bok, General Manager of Lotte Hotel Hanoi, expressed his hope that this would motivate the students to realize their life's ambitions. He also offered a message to the students: "If you set clear goals for yourselves, always determined to follow the path you have chosen with a passionate and unwavering heart, you will surely achieve your goals. I will always support you." On behalf of the scholarship recipients, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Anh Tuan – Rector of Hanoi Foreign Trade University and Cao Nguyen Cuong, a student from the Foreign Trade University, expressed their sincere gratitude for the Lotte Group's leadership's concern for the young generation of Vietnam, helping to fulfill the dreams of students from disadvantaged families.

The Lotte Scholarship program, held twice a year, is a symbol of the strong friendship between South Korea and Vietnam, and reflects Lotte Group's desire to contribute to community activities and social responsibility. Furthermore, the group's leadership hopes that today's outstanding graduates will be the next generation to join Lotte Group's subsidiaries in the near future.

Established in 1983, the Lotte Foundation provides scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have overcome difficulties to achieve high academic and research results. In 2008, the Lotte Foundation scholarship program came to Vietnam and, through its meaningful scholarships, has become a trusted partner for students at prestigious universities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. In the future, the Lotte Group promises to dedicate even more attention and investment to the nation's young talents.
