In recent years, the cool air of summer days in Sapa has attracted many artists to this mountainous region when the foliage in the forest turns yellow before the harvest season from June onwards. During this year's Sapa Art Festival, the artists also opened their personal studios to the public in addition to an exhibition of paintings at the Sapa Museum during the festival month. A rare opportunity to meet and exchange, learn more about their creative work and purchase valuable works.

A limited edition set of prints and postcards will be on sale at the Sapa Tourist Information Centre during the Sapa Arts Festival, with all proceeds going to students from the most disadvantaged schools.
The festival will take place from September 20 to October 18, 2014 at Sapa Tourist Information Center, Sapa Rooms and many other locations in town.
