The thirteenth edition of this year's science film festival for children and teenagers continues to showcase science films accompanied by experiments and games. This year's theme is "Anthropological Period": the concept affirms a reality: for thousands of years, humans have impacted and altered nature. Today, we experience the Anthropological Period through climate change and the crisis facing the plant and animal kingdoms. The films not only address these issues but also show us the beauty and the fragile vulnerability of our planet's ecosystems.
Nineteen films from seven countries will encourage scientific awareness among young people of all ages and backgrounds. With hundreds of screenings, the 2016 Science Film Festival attracted 36,000 viewers – this resounding success once again affirms the significance of the Science Film Festival as a key cultural program in Vietnam aimed at promoting science education and encouraging creative learning.
