On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Quang Binh province will organize a series of exciting cultural and tourism events to serve people and tourists during the upcoming holiday.
The highlight of this year's series of activities is the sea music festival "Legend Fest in Dong Hoi", taking place from April 30 to May 4 at Bao Ninh 1 Urban Area (Dong Hoi City). The event brings together many famous domestic artists, promising to bring a colorful entertainment space. In particular, on the opening night of April 30, a 10-minute low-altitude fireworks display will be held, contributing to stirring up the festival atmosphere by the beach.

At the same time, the Dong Hoi Culture - Tourism Week 2025 will also officially open with many unique art activities. The highlight of the week is the stage performance "Dong Hoi - Roses and the Sea", taking place on the evening of May 1 at Bao Ninh Sea Square. Cultural experiences, local cuisine and specialty product displays are also held throughout, creating conditions for visitors to explore more deeply the land and people of Quang Binh.
In the Phong Nha - Ke Bang area, Bo Trach district has also planned to organize many events imbued with local cultural identity. On the morning of April 28, a folk dance festival will take place at the Youth Volunteer Monument, gathering teams from nine communes and towns. On the same day, in the evening, an art festival at Xuan Son ferry will feature folk performances by mass art troupes.
One of the most anticipated activities is the traditional boat racing festival on the Son River, held on the morning of April 29 with the participation of 10 male boat teams and 3 female boat teams from all over the district. At the same time, the Son River grass carp competition will take place, including catching fish and cooking, to promote one of the region's specialties.

In addition to cultural events, Quang Binh also introduces a series of nature discovery tours suitable for long holidays. The 3-day, 2-night itineraries take tourists to visit Phong Nha Cave - known as "heaven on earth", relax at Bang Onsen hot spring, or offer incense at the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap in Vung Chua - Yen Island.
