The 6th Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival carries the message "I love Vietnamese Ao Dai", conveyed through a series of highly interactive activities with the community such as contests: Charming Ao Dai, Beautiful Ao Dai Online Photos, parades, and inspirational programs about Ao Dai.

The highlight of this year's Ao Dai Festival is the participation of image ambassadors, celebrities in many fields, and 26 leading Ao Dai designers from both the country and the world, bringing unique and creative Ao Dai designs to the festival. 17 collections of designers were presented on the opening night, leaving beautiful impressions in the hearts of the audience.

The festival attendees were famous and influential figures in many fields such as Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H'Hen Nie, Meritorious Artist Kim Xuan, Meritorious Artist Trinh Kim Chi, Meritorious Artist Que Tran, businesswoman Nguyen Thi Trang Phuong, MC Quynh Hoa, runner-up Le Hang, Miss World Vietnamese Thai Nhien Phuong, singer Nguyen Phi Hung, singer Chi Thien, actress Kim Tuyen, singer Kyo York, supermodel Ho Duc Vinh, first prize winner of Charming Ao Dai HCMC 2018 Mai Phuong and Luong Van Them. They all share a great love for Ao Dai. The Ao Dai ambassadors wore the traditional dress of the nation as an affirmation to help bring the image of Ao Dai far and wide.

In addition to the main purpose of promoting the Vietnamese Ao Dai brand, the 2019 Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival also conveys to the audience a positive message about environmental protection, joining hands to build a Green - Clean - Beautiful City, inviting people and tourists to join the Ao Dai performance at Nguyen Hue Walking Street.

The 2019 Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival opened on March 2 and will end on March 17, 2019 with a closing ceremony held at Times Square Building, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
